United States Cancer Statistics

The official federal statistics on cancer incidence from registries having high-quality data and cancer mortality statistics for 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico are produced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Data are available for the United States, state and metropolitan areas (MSA) by age group, race, gender, childhood cancer classifications and cancer sites.

The SEER Cancer Statistics reports, publications, public-use data and analysis software are available at the National Cancer Institute web site.

State Cancer Profiles

Dynamic views of cancer statistics for prioritizing cancer control efforts in the nation, state and counties, are available at the State Cancer Profiles web site.
