Documentation of the Mortality Tape File for 2003 Data
DSN: CC36.MCMORT03 CC36.MCMORT03.PSThese are multiple cause-of-death public-use data files for the year 2003. The data are released for each data year. Each file contains a data record for all deaths processed by National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). Each data record contains underlying cause, multiple cause, and demographic data for a death. The first file contains the data for the entire country excluding the territories and the second file contains data for all the territories.
